Regular service and maintenance to gas and fluid supply systems
One of the main concerns is the reliability of a constant quality of the gas and liquid supply in a factory. This depends on the quality of the incoming facilities, as well as the infrastructure .The incoming gas is often guaranteed by the supplier, and it is therefore essential that there is no quality degradation in the supply system from the central supply area to the tools at the point of use.

To ensure the quality of the gas and liquid supply systems, regular check ups and maintenance are essential!

Lamers High Tech Systems can offer the regular maintenance and check up on its installations in a maintenance contract. This ensures a regular check on the leak tightness and function of all components in the installation, such as pressure reducers, gas bottle stations, connections and other components. At the same time, any preventive maintenance as well as a visual check on the installation is carried out. Lamers can offer this or part of this service, and we can also advise you on any specific requirements or corrections that are necessary.

The maintenance is done by our experienced crew, with the right know-how on gas and liquid supply systems with the back up from qualified safety experts in the office, with in-depth knowledge on the applicable rules and regulations. The maintenance contracts are tailored to your specific requirements and installation.

By taking care of the regular maintenance and check ups, the up-time and the quality of the installation is improved, as well as the personal safety for the users.

Qualification of gas systems
Our expert measuring department executes testing of gas and fluid systems in our own Clean-rooms as well as on location using an inert gas. Providing safety allows it, testing with the original medium is a possibility as well. Before testing a detailed job description is made with the client so that both  parties are clear about the expectations. A test protocol is available as a  guideline for setting up the job description.

We provide the following tests and measurements on location, using calibrated instruments made by renowned manufacturers:

Visual inspection: Control of applied components, craftsmanship
Pressure drop test: cleanroom -1 tot 16 barg, outside cleanroom -1 tot 400 bar
High pressure test: cleanroom -1 tot 16 barg, outside cleanroom max 1000 bar (Lamers HTS pump system)
Helium leaktest: Minimale detection 2×10-10 mBar.l/sec
Helium sniffing test: Minimal detection 1×10-6 mBar.l/sec
Humidity measurement: Minimal detection 1 ppb
Oxigen measurement: Minimal detection 1 ppb
Particle measurement: Particles from 5 µm to 0,1 µm
Total Hydro Carbon measurement: Minimal detection 1 ppb
TOC: Total organic carbon/contamination in gas determination, performed with a gas-chromatograph using a mass spectrometer detector
RGA: Residual gas analysis using a vacuum chamber (1,5 m3)


Inspections and/or test results can be made available in a certificate containing all relevant data.


Visual control
Examining the complete system: assembly, applied components, flow direction especially toggles, non-return valves, etc. Inspection is carried out together with the client.

Pressure test
Pressure tests are applied to ascertain that the strength and density of a system are according to specifications. Pressure is built up by use of a gas container or high pressure pump, according to regulations. Specifications are set on the basis of NEN or Semi norms, these vary with each system. Safety is a foremost matter of course, there can never be too much pressure on any parts. Pressure tests can be carried out from -1 to 400 Bar. By testing in a non-controlled atmosphere, the temperature can also be determined.

Helium leak test
To establish leaking levels of a system -predetermined by gas purity – a Helium leak test is executed. Helium is inert and harmless. Minimal measurability of leakage is 1x 10-10 mBar.l/sec, by the under-pressure method. Minimal value for Helium over-pressure or sniffing method is 1x 10-6 mBar.l/sec. This test requires experienced personnel.

Humidity measurement
Residual humidity is measurable by flushing a system under specific pressure and flow. The applied gas needs to have a purity of at least 5.0. The measurement period depends on the acquired level of the tested system. Minimal level of measurement is 1 ppb.

Oxygen measurements
It is possible to examine the amount of residual oxygen. For a proper measurement argon or nitrogen are required at a purity of at least 5.0. The minimal level of measurement is 1 ppb.

Total Hydro Carbon
TheTHC contamination of a system is also measurable. This requires flushing the system with a minimal gas purity of 5.0. There are several flushing gases are available.

Particle measurement
We provide measurements of the size and number of particles via several media with a minimum gas purity is 5.0. Particles can range from 5 µm to a minimum of 0,1 µm.

Qualification trolley
To combine several tests, we developed a dedicated testing trolley. Using this, humidity, oxygen and particle testing are combined. During measurement, values and trends are directly available, giving immediate insight into the status of a system. After completion a report is automatically generated, in accordance with previously given specifications. The trolley is built to be able to test over a longer period of time, yielding a good view of possible contaminations. It is self-regulating so measurements can be executed automatically. Data transmission via de network is an option which can be developed.
